An easy solution for my source of daily frustration.

Friends – I try to be a balanced, rational person most of the time, but there was one thing that kept happening that would lead me to moments of irritation, almost rage.

So I have a complicated password – because, well, that’s just good sense. And like all of you, I would lock my laptop if I stepped away from my desk.

On returning to the laptop, I would try to log back in, and even though I thought I had muscle memory, many times, I would need to enter the password a few times to get it right. And you know what happens when you enter the password wrong too many times, right?

It got to the point where I thought the machine was trying to drive me insane.

One day my colleague Aidan saw me having a little moment of rage at the machine, and he asked, why don’t you use fingerprint access?

And friends, let me tell you – that changed my life. I literally used to have 6-10 moments of incredible frustration every single working day – and while those moments were seconds long -maybe even a minute – the thing was, there was no need to elevate my blood pressure to that degree.

This little efficiency hack changed my life for the better. Aidan, you are a star and my life is better because you helped.
