Often, you will hear Hollywood actors speak about their success by saying how hard they work – and therefore their success is deserved.
See, I have a differing perspective. When you say that you are successful because you are hardworking, it implies that everyone who is NOT as successful as you is NOT hardworking.
Often, the real reasons for people’s success include:
🔔 access to opportunities
👨💻 access to network or connections
🏃♂️ being in the right place at the right time
😍being liked by the right person
😵 nepotism
🙈 being able to play the game
🍀 or – luck. Sometimes, it’s just luck.
So friends – let’s stop saying our success is about how hard we’ve worked, when the reality is that it is a combination of factors. 😻
