Is there someone in your organisation who harms others?

I am currently reading Reimagine Inclusion, by Mita Mallick, and here is a powerful passage that caught my eye:

“I have watched too many leaders fall into this trap: protecting and allowing an individual to continue to work in their organisation who has a pattern of hurting and harming others. Leaders will do so at the expense of losing other employees. They will do so at the expense of losing the trust of their teams.”

This is a fascinating read – and everyone who aspires to be a people leader MUST read this book.
