…is that I always know exactly where I stand with them.
All the South African and Dutch people I have ever met have always been direct – which means they have told me to my face what they were thinking.
The opposite of that approach is to be nice to people, and NOT let them know when they are doing something you don’t like.

I’m drinking a toast to all my South African and Dutch friends. We are kindred spirits. 😍
